To configure Meld

$ git config --global diff.tool git-meld

git difftool $start_commit..$end_commit – path/to/file

To start viewing the diffs:

$ git difftool $start_commit..$end_commit -- path/to/file

or:

$ git difftool $start_commit..$end_commit
